Joshua is an Assistant Professor of behavioural science at the University of Warwick. He previously worked as a Lecturer at the Department of Economics at the University of Essex , a Senior Researcher at The Education Policy Institute and held visiting positions at the ifo Institute and Institute for Applied Microeconomics, University of Bonn. He has a PhD in Economics and publishes papers in topics related to education with a special interest in teacher recruitment and retention. Recent publications include investigating why teachers quit and if there is gender discrimination in schools.
