The Centre for Policy Research on Men and Boys (CPRMB) has revealed its list of around a hundred champions, with sports stars, charity bosses, academics, politicians, entertainers and business people, all featuring.

“We have launched our Men and BoysChampions’ list to recognise the growth in interest in the issues affecting men and boys and, most importantly, the great work being done by a wide range of people, says Nick Isles CPRMB Director.  It was really hard narrowing the list down, but that’s actually a good thing.  A few years ago, you’d have struggled to find a hundred people who were aware enough of the problems facing men and boys, but today there’s a lot more interest and some serious, positive work going on.”

Among the most recognisable names are:

· Sir Gareth Southgate – the former England football manager earns his place following his 2025 Dimbleby Lecture on his fears around the manosphere

·  Lawrence Dallaglio OBE – ex-England rugby captain who has dedicated his life after the sport to supporting disadvantaged young men and boys

·   Stephen Graham OBE – a multiple Emmy and Golden Globe winner, a mental health advocate, youth mentor, male emotional literacy campaigner and of course, campaigner for working class males through productions like Adolescence

·   Caitlin Moran – celebrated columnist for The Times and author of What About Men? where she explores the possibilities for a positive roadmap for men in the modern world

·   David Gandy – supermodel and entrepreneur, he helped redefine modern masculinity through the Centre for Social Justice’s Lost Boys campaign.

Nick says, “At the CPRMB, our focus is on research that can inform policy to bring about positive social change.  But if the lives of men and boys are to be enhanced and improved, it also takes campaigners, provocateurs, spokespeople, thinkers and practitioners to make a difference.  Today, those are the people we are celebrating.

Editor of Prospect magazine, CPRMB board member and well-known columnist and author, Phil Collins, says, “As a journalist there are some lists one craves to be on and others one would pay to keep off. This list is different. It is a celebration.  It includes many (if not all) the people - men and women - who are trying to tackle the issues affecting men and boys. I offer my congratulations to all who have been included.”
