Sana Khareghani has 25+ years’ experience in technology and business across the private and public sectors. With a degree in Computer Science and an MBA from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Sana has worked as a software engineer in big corporations and start-ups, as a strategy consultant advising C-suite clients globally, and as the inaugural Head of the UK Government’s Office for AI -leading the team to publish the UK's National AI Strategy and invest £1billionin the UK AI ecosystem. 

 Sana is currently Chief Strategy Officer at Era4, an AI Infrastructure company delivering resilient, lower carbon, high-performance capacity to enable the UK AI transformation. Sana is also Professor of Practice in AI at King's College London, AI Policy lead for Responsible AI UK, a £35 million grant seeding and connecting responsible AI research and innovation, and a trustee of the Institute for the Future of Work.
